After the Windows 10 Creator update, my internet connection had been spotty and annoying. Disconnects and extremely slow loading of anything. I ignored the issues for awhile. Which is a bad habit I have that I'm trying to weed out.
The simple answer? Using a driver for my USB wireless adapter. Everything went back to normal as soon as I restarted my desktop. It seems faster now that I enabled a setting in Device Manager for the adapter for multimedia/gaming. That was the bright side in all of this.
